Trade-in terms & conditions
Please read these terms before trading in your devices. The details of each deal – device values, prices and warranty period – are confirmed in your written quote.

Eligibility
The trade-in programme is for companies, organisations and business customers. Every request is subject to our review and approval.
Device assessment & value
The trade-in value depends on the model, specifications, age and physical and working condition of each device. The value in your quote is based on the information you give us and is confirmed after our team inspects the devices.
If a device’s condition differs from what was described, we will send you an updated value before going ahead.
Quotes & pricing
Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. Prices of new devices depend on availability at the time of the order. The trade-in value is deducted from the invoice for the new devices and is not paid out in cash, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Ownership & handover
You confirm that your company owns the devices being traded in and has the right to hand them over. Devices should be handed over with their chargers where available, and with all passwords, BIOS locks, Apple ID / iCloud, MDM and other account locks removed.
Data & privacy
Please back up any data you need before handover. We wipe stored data from every traded-in device before it is refurbished, resold or recycled. Pen Tech is not responsible for data that was not backed up before handover.
Warranty on new devices
Every new device comes with a warranty. The warranty period is stated in your quote and invoice and starts on the delivery date.
The warranty covers hardware faults under normal use. It does not cover physical or liquid damage, misuse, repairs by others or software issues.
Replacement of faulty devices
If a device develops a fault covered by the warranty, contact us and we will repair it or replace it with a device of the same or higher specification, keeping your team’s downtime to a minimum.
Collection & delivery
Collection of the old devices and delivery of the new ones are arranged with you in advance. Please check the devices on delivery and report any issue straight away.
Payment & invoicing
Payment terms are agreed in your quote. An invoice is issued for every order.
Changes to these terms
Pen Tech may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force on the date your quote is approved apply to your deal.

Is there a minimum number of devices?
No fixed minimum – contact us whether you’re replacing a few devices or equipping a whole office.
Do you take in devices that aren’t working?
In many cases, yes. A faulty device can still have trade-in value depending on its model and the fault – we’ll assess it and let you know.
Can we choose the new devices?
Yes. Tell us what your team needs and your budget, and we’ll recommend options from brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo and Apple.
How long does the process take?
It depends on the number of devices and the models you choose. You’ll get a clear timeline with your quote.
What happens if a new device fails?
Contact us on WhatsApp or by phone. If the fault is covered by the warranty, we repair or replace the device.
